This GRAMMY® guitar was autographed in silver Sharpie backstage on show day of the 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast by Kid Rock. The telecast took place at the Staples Center on Sunday, February 10, 2008, and aired on CBS. A. Yes, a Letter of Consent signed by a representative of the GRAMMY charities is available upon request.
Q. I've won the auction! What happens next?
A. A representative of Kompolt will contact the winning bidder via email or phone to congratulate him or her as well as confirm the payment amount and payment instructions. Payment must be in U.S. funds and received within three (3) business days of the close of the auction.
Q. What are the accepted methods of payment?
A. We accept the following methods of payment: PayPal, cashier's check and wire transfer. If paying by cashier’s check, please make payable to the “Kompolt” in US funds and ship via one of the following traceable sources: Federal Express, Airborne Express, DHL or UPS. Sorry, no personal checks.
Q. Will a receipt be provided?
A. Yes, a receipt for the final bid amount paid will be provided by Kompolt.
Q. Is there sales tax?
A. Sales tax will not be charged for non-tangible items such as VIP Experiences. Residents of the state of California will pay sales tax of 7.75% for any tangible items purchased.
Q. Is this purchase tax deductible?
A. Please contact your personal tax advisor for more information on this issue.
Q. What is the delivery process for tangible items?
A. The buyer will pay a flat shipping cost as stated in the listing. International buyers are responsible for the flat shipping cost stated in the listing plus any additional international shipping fees that apply including Customs, VAT (value added tax), duties, fees, tariffs, etc. which may be assessed and due upon delivery of item. The GRAMMY charities cannot pre-determine such fees and are not responsible for these additional costs.
Unless otherwise stated in the auction listing, all items are shipped via Federal Express and include insurance. Winning bidders must provide a physical address, phone number, and signature for delivery. Sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. Barring unanticipated circumstances and/or any special fulfillment conditions stated in the above description, the expected delivery time is 3-4 weeks after final payment is received and acknowledged.
Q. What is the fulfillment process for VIP experiences?
A. Kompolt will place the winning bidder in communication with a representative from the GRAMMY charities within 3 weeks of receipt and confirmation of payment.
Q. Will my item come with a Letter of Authenticity?
A. Yes, a Letter of Authenticity signed by a representative of the GRAMMY charities will be provided with all tangible items that have been autographed and/or hold collectible value. Non-tangible items such as VIP Experience auctions will not include a Letter of Authenticity.
